Welcome to Rush Starters Sunday-Only-Soccer. Starters is a recreational soccer league and program. Player participation, skill development, and having fun through learning the wonderful sport of soccer are our primary goals.

Age Divisions: There are four age divisions: U6 players born in 2019 and 2018, U8 players born in 2017 and 2016, U10 players born in 2015 and 2014, U12 players born in 2012 and 2013. U6 practices at NOON am, U8 at 1 P.M., U10 at 2 P.M., U12 at 3 P.M.

Park Assignments: Most children are placed with their first park choice, however, in order to guarantee equal number of teams and gameplay, Rush Starters needs to have the option to transfer new children to a another park in order to make full teams. From March 3 to March 10, Rush Starters will be going over all of the rosters and contacting parents who might have to transfer. We treat transfers on a first-come first serve basis and the last one who registers is the first to get transferred.

Uniforms : Uniforms will arrive by March 24, 2024 prior to the start of the first game. Uniforms will be handed out to the coach to pass out or available at the field by the field marshal, We will send out information once the uniform arrive. Every player will receive a jersey, shorts and socks.

Final registration for Spring 2024 season is Sunday, Sept. 3. Anyone wanting to register after March 3 will need to contact the league coordinator  at 505-702-5412, and will need to pay by credit card or by special arrangement. Late registrants will be considered but may not be accepted. Coaches cannot register players on the field without prior approval from the league office.

Requirements: Players are required to have a practice ball, shin guards, and a water bottle for practices and games. Players must wear shin guards to all practices and games. Players that do not have shin guards and a game jersey at check-in before games will not be allowed to play. Soccer cleats are not required, but are strongly recommended for all ages. Cleats that have a toe spike and/or metal are prohibited.

Refund policy: Refunds will only be granted for requests made prior to the first practice, March 3, 2024. No refunds will be granted after the first practice. No Exceptions.

Weekday Skills Sessions: This season Starters is offering Friday Night Skills Sessions at the indoor Rush Center at 4425 Prospect NE. These sessions are 55-minutes long and run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. depending on age CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR SHARP SHOOTERS. It is an additional $95 for 8 weeks.
